Enid, The boomerang head.
Enid, The girl with a Boomerang head.
By A. F Bedwell
There once was a girl with a boomerang head. She was called by the name Enid.
Despite her misshapen head, she never desired a normal head instead.
You see this head allowed her to fly, quickly rotating as she soared through the sky.
She had a dream to travel far and wide, streaking across vast open spaces and rural country sides.
Yet no matter how far afield on her travels she roamed, she would always end up safely back at home.
Discouraged she sat on a rock and started to cry, “Oh dear me, must I let my dream die!”
Along came a boy who promised her he could help her dream be fulfilled. As he chucked her away, she thought “He is lacking in skill.”
He threw her so far she was elated with glee, until she saw in her path was a tree.
Abruptly her flight ended with a great thunderous clap. Her head broke in two with a mighty big snap.
No longer could Enid fly or return back to her home. The young boy he had left her broken and alone.
The end.
Moral of the story, be careful who and how you throw someone away.
