Unicorn Boy Met his Match

Unicorn Boy

By A f. Bedwell

Unicorn boy was a strange one not of the typical nor norm. Unlike most young boys he had a humongous horn.

The horn was a spiral that came out form his head. He wore on his chin a beardy silky and red.

Although his horn was pretty, sparkling and neat. Others pointed and laughed, they called him a freak.

His deepest desire was to find a girl and get hitched, but most of his girlfriends whined, nagged and bitched.

He was a curiosity, a thrill some girls dared to try. Asking him questions into his power they’d pry.

He told them in passion he was able to perform great feats, but to abuse his power then only a poor death would they meet.

After some heart break and a few accidental deaths, he called quit with dating and of love? He would not hold his breath.

Till one day he heard calls of weirdo and freak, he turn towards them but i was not to him they did speak.

Walking down the street was a girl with a forked tongue and tail. She had smooth scaly skin both shimmering and pale.

When their eyes met sparks ignited the air, perhaps just a few sparks singed both their hair.

Dragon girl had met a freak just like her, an abomination of which there was no known cure.

They spent their days linked hoof to hand, they spent their nights making sweet love in the sand.

The neighborhoods critters sang praises as they walked down the street. The birds filled the air with musical tweet tweets. Every day felt like heaven until their first fight. Screaming and yelling they stayed up all night.

Magic flashed and sparkled streaming out of his horn. Fire spit and crackled, It grew very warm.

A great steaming glittering cloud grew over head. It filled passer-byes with a deep sense of dread.

As unicorn boys magic rained down her anger grew higher. She coughed up a flame, baking him with her raging fire.

His magic settled around her sticking to her skin. It transformed her into a log to atone for her terrible sin.

What a sad end, to be consumed by the flames. Of such a pair only a horn and a pile of ashes remain.
